I picked up one of these pots (the 3 cup size) new at goodwill for just a few dollars, but I'm trying to write this from the perspective of "would I buy this for the current purchase price ($15).I really like moka coffee. Its strong almost like espresso, its efficient, and its easy. All you do is:1) fill the base with water up to the pressure relief valve (I use warm water from the tap to speed brewing)2) fill the basket with coffee grounds (fine ground is what you want here nearly as fine as espresso)3) level off but don't pack down the coffee and place the basket in the base4) screw the top portion on tightly5) place the pot over a low flame and wait6) coffee will start to run out into the top pot. When it starts to sputter and spit turn off the flame (or electric heat) and wait for the sputtering to subside7) pour the best cup of coffee you've ever made on your stovetopThis pot works perfectly. The base is heavy and allows for quick and even heating without scorching your grounds. Its definitely made for 1 to 2 people (one cup of strong coffee or two espresso shots). Any more people than that and you'll want a bigger pot. Honestly I'd almost like a bigger pot just for myself, but I'm a bit of a coffee/caffein addict.My one disappointment was the gasket. I know the gasket on these pots (that seals the top to the bottom when brewing) does tend to wear out. There are replacements and its not that big of a deal, but this one wore out in just over 4 months. I now need to tighten the base with a very high amount of pressure to avoid leaking during high brewing. I intend to replace this gasket soon and don't expect it will be an issue after that, but its something to consider before buying.Overall I rate the quality of the product 4/5 stars. Its every bit as heavy as a bialetti and makes a very similar cup of moka coffee. The gasket might be its one shortcoming, but with that said the prices seem to be right where they should be. They're 30-60% less than the name brand bialetti pots and at a price point that I'd purchase one at if mine wears out. If you've got coffee snob friends maybe you want the brand name, but for me, all I want is a morning pick me up that tastes good and this provides that.Recommendation: 4/5 buy

I ordered this Espresso Maker for my Granddaughter for Christmas. I paid the extra to have itgift wrapped so she'd have a surprise on Christmas morning. She received it today and there was a packing ship attached to the package telling her what was in the package! If I would have know that, I wouldn't have paid extra to have it wrapped! What good did it do me?
